Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AEM Developer/Architect to lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise-scale digital platforms. In this role, you will shape modern, customer-centric experiences by delivering scalable Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions optimized for performance, reliability, and long-term sustainability.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Architect, design, and implement enterprise-grade AEM solutions focused on modularity, scalability, and maintainability
  • Develop custom AEM components, templates, and workflows following Adobe best practices and reusable design patterns
  • Lead implementations of AEM as a Cloud Service using modern cloud-native architectural principles
  • Configure and optimize dispatcher settings, caching layers, and platform performance
  • Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams to support deployments, upgrades, and system stability
  • Drive architectural discussions and provide technical leadership across the AEM ecosystem
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across authoring, publishing, integration, and performance layers
  • Manage integrations with Adobe ecosystem tools (analytics, tag management) and external platforms
  • Define and uphold standards for security, accessibility, SEO, and performance optimization
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor developers to elevate engineering quality
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and backlog refinement
  • Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation to support future scalability and knowledge transfer

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience with significant hands-on delivery of AEM solutions
  • Deep expertise in AEM core frameworks: Sling, OSGi, JCR, dispatcher configuration, workflow development
  • Strong experience with AEM as a Cloud Service and modern cloud deployment models
  • Proficiency in Java and front-end technologies including HTL (Sightly), JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js), and Node.js
  • Solid understanding of enterprise web architecture principles such as J2EE and scalable application design
  • Experience with server-side rendering, caching strategies, and front-end performance optimization
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and DevOps best practices
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience with containerized environments and Kubernetes-based deployments (e.g., AKS)
  • Background integrating AEM with broader enterprise marketing technology stacks
  • Prior experience in a technical lead or solution architect capacity
