We are seeking an IT Integration Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises integration solutions, APIs, and automation workflows. In this role, you will help build the connections that power data flow, reporting, and AI-driven insights across the enterprise.
Working alongside senior developers, architects, and business teams, you will contribute to solution design, integration development, observability, and data preparation activities. Your efforts will support system connectivity, improve visibility across the organization, and enable intelligent automation in hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cloud-native and on-prem integration solutions and APIs aligned with established design standards.
- Translate business and technical requirements into integration components, including AI/ML-enabled features where appropriate.
- Apply integration patterns such as synchronous, asynchronous, and event-driven workflows with guidance from senior engineers.
- Monitor systems, assist with incident investigation, and support upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
- Participate in cloud migration, middleware modernization, and automation projects.
- Help implement logging, monitoring, and observability solutions to support performance and reliability tracking.
- Contribute to system documentation, reusable components, and integration standards.
- Support integration of AI/ML services and assist with data preparation for analytics and reporting initiatives.
- Stay current on emerging integration, cloud, automation, and AI/ML technologies.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development or system integration (including internships, co-ops, or academic project experience).
- Proficiency with programming languages such as Java, Unix Shell Scripting, PowerShell, JavaScript, or Node.js.
- Experience working with APIs, RESTful services, and common integration concepts.
- Exposure to messaging or integration tools such as IBM IIB, Kong, Kafka, MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with data formats (JSON, XML, CSV) and relational databases.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, microservices, or event-driven architecture.
- Exposure to monitoring/logging tools, debugging practices, and basic security concepts.
- Experience with reporting or visualization tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Academic or hands-on exposure to AI/ML services, generative AI tools, or machine learning frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in Agile/SCRUM environments.
- Clear communication skills and an eagerness to learn, contribute, and grow in integration and AI-enabled workflows.
- Cloud / Integration / AI-related certifications, such as:
- AWS or Azure Associate / Developer / Architect
- IBM IIB or ACE
- Boomi
- Kong
- Kubernetes
- Certified Machine Learning
