Summary:
The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, Injection Molding works mostly independently to troubleshoot and continuous process improvement efforts. These efforts consist of reviewing designs, assisting in testing and validation of manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting and maintaining equipment, making improvements to equipment and maintaining SOPs for equipment used to manufacture innovative products.
Job Title: Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Injection Molding
Location: Camarillo, CA
Pay Range: $95,000-130,000
What’s the Job?
- Work with operators/leads/supervisors to identify areas of improvement on existing equipment.
- Prepare drawings for equipment modifications using 2-D and 3-D CAD software.
- Attend new equipment design reviews and provide recommendations for ease of operation, maintenance, and robustness of design.
- Assist in the testing and validation of new equipment.
- Maintain SOPs and Maintenance Procedures.
- Assist in installation and startup of new equipment.
- Train operators on the use of new equipment and procedures.
What’s Needed?
- Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline
- 4+ years of experience working in a similar position
- 3+ years of experience working in injection molding
- Proficiency CAD software
- Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven experience conducting root cause analysis and methodical problem-solving approach.
