The Coordinator provides administrative support for BU Faculty Developments organizational functions including coordinating programs and events, scheduling departmental meetings, and providing support for the Assistant Provost for Faculty Development and Success. The Coordinator also supports the administrative needs of the Director for Faculty Onboarding, Mentoring and Career Development, and the Faculty Fellows.



Required Skills

A cover letter is required for consideration.

  • B.A./B.S., and one to three years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, including ability to write well and to deal effectively and diplomatically with others.
  • Strong initiative and attention to detail.
  • Capacity to handle multiple projects and priorities in consultation with others.
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team.
  • Good judgement, particularly in terms of handling sensitive/confidential information. •Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
