The Administrative Coordinator provides support to the College of Engineering's Undergraduate Programs Office (UPO), and is the first point of contact for guests, visitors, students, faculty, and staff who visit, call or email the department. This position will support the operational needs of the Undergraduate Programs Office by keeping inventory and replenishment of supplies, which will include purchase orders and communication with internal and external vendors - track/monitor/reconcile associated costs. Coordinate logistics for seminars, meetings, and events. This can include space reservations, catering orders, AV equipment needs. Day-to-day task will include oversight of UPO calendars -scheduling appointments, maintain office equipment and troubleshoot issues when necessary, and organize and publish the weekly newsletter. This position is 100% in person. The role will require working on Labor Day and on the Saturday in mid-May when commencement occurs. Occasional evening work (2 times per year) may be required to attend functions.
Required Skills
Associates degree and 1-3 years of experience. 3-5 years of experience handling office logistics may substitute for an Associate's degree. Please submit cover letter and resume.
