An Administrative Assistant provides clerical and organizational support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations within an office or organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Office Administration

  • Manage daily office operations and maintain a clean, organized workspace
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when needed

2. Scheduling & Calendar Management

  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and events
  • Maintain calendars for managers or teams
  • Coordinate meeting rooms and logistics

3. Documentation & Record Keeping

  • Prepare, edit, and format documents, reports, and presentations
  • Maintain filing systems (physical and digital)
  • Handle data entry and database management

4. Communication & Coordination

  • Act as a point of contact between departments, clients, and vendors
  • Assist with internal and external communications
  • Support team coordination and follow-ups

5. Meeting & Event Support

  • Organize meetings (prepare agendas, take minutes)
  • Arrange travel and accommodations if required
  • Assist in planning company events or activities

6. Financial & Basic Accounting Tasks

  • Process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders
  • Track basic budgets or petty cash
