An Administrative Assistant provides clerical and organizational support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations within an office or organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Office Administration
- Manage daily office operations and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when needed
2. Scheduling & Calendar Management
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and events
- Maintain calendars for managers or teams
- Coordinate meeting rooms and logistics
3. Documentation & Record Keeping
- Prepare, edit, and format documents, reports, and presentations
- Maintain filing systems (physical and digital)
- Handle data entry and database management
4. Communication & Coordination
- Act as a point of contact between departments, clients, and vendors
- Assist with internal and external communications
- Support team coordination and follow-ups
5. Meeting & Event Support
- Organize meetings (prepare agendas, take minutes)
- Arrange travel and accommodations if required
- Assist in planning company events or activities
6. Financial & Basic Accounting Tasks
- Process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders
- Track basic budgets or petty cash
- Support bookkeeping tasks when needed
7. Customer Service
