Administrative Assistant III

What You will Do:

• Respond to and resolve customer service requests in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner for external customers, departmental staff, and other personnel always.

• Assist with budget and expense management for assigned IT departments.

• Manage calendars, set up appointments, arrange events, and maintain contact lists and for IT division management as requested, supporting multiple IT Leaders..

• Provide telephone coverage for department management, as needed, responding appropriately to key vendor and industry contacts.

• Build, maintain and protect the confidentiality of department administrative records, maintaining the currency of information necessary for IT management to manage departments.

• Provide general office support for IT staff in assigned departments.

• Plan and coordinate travel, meetings and other activities for department management and staff. Attend select planning and department meetings, capture and type notes and action plans.

• Maintain organization of departmental files and division website.

• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

What it takes to join our team:

• Associate degree (Office Administration) or equivalent required.

• Windows Personal Computer capabilities required, including proficiency in use of spreadsheets, word processing and email software.

• Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams experience required.

• Information Technology experience preferred.

• Must have good meeting planning/facilitation skills.

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

• Keyboard skills of at least 50 NWPM.

• Strong customer service and public relations skills are necessary.

• Oral and written communication skills as appropriate to this position.

• Reasonably regular and predictable attendance.

• Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
