Are you looking for a role where you can interact with Navy Sailors, contribute to critical mission success, and work within a team of highly skilled professionals? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

About the Role
We’re searching for a dynamic, motivated Administrative Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in the operation of the S8G Prototype at the Kesselring Site. This position offers the unique opportunity to interface directly with Navy Sailors and exceptional civilian personnel to help drive mission success with one of the most capable teams in the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.

You’ll provide critical administrative support to the S8G Plant Manager and their leadership team, ensuring seamless coordination of plant activities and enabling the team to stay mission-focused and strategically aligned. Whether it’s managing schedules, facilitating communications, or coordinating essential work for the S8G plant, you’ll be at the heart of one of the most advanced technical environments in the program.

  • Act as a central point of contact between the S8G Plant Manager, their staff, and Navy Sailors—facilitating effective communication and seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Support the S8G Plant Manager in managing and prioritizing a high workload, assisting with task planning and execution to maintain focus on mission-critical objectives.
  • Coordinate and track plant work across departments and initiatives, ensuring alignment with site priorities and deadlines.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as calendar management, meeting preparation, correspondence, and document organization to enable leadership to stay ahead of schedule and on target.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance environment, working alongside a team of exceptional personnel dedicated to supporting the fleet and the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program's overall mission.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking candidates who demonstrate:

  • Strong communication skills, particularly when working with a wide range of personnel, including Navy Sailors and senior staff.
  • Dependability, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-paced, demanding environment.
  • A proactive mindset—someone who can anticipate needs, identify challenges, and develop solutions independently.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring smooth coordination of plant activities.
  • A commitment to upholding the values and standards of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.

This is more than just an administrative role—it’s an opportunity to be part of something larger. If you’re ready to contribute to one of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program’s flagship sites, we want to hear from you.
