Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Temporary – Maternity Leave Coverage)
Location: Conroe, TX
Pay: $20/hour
Assignment Type: Temporary (Maternity Leave Coverage)
Start Date: Immediate – Must be able to start without notice
Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Administrative Assistant to provide maternity leave coverage. This is a temporary opportunity for someone who can start immediately and quickly step into a fast-paced office environment.
The selected candidate will train alongside the current employee for at least two weeks (possibly longer) before the leave begins to ensure a smooth transition. While the full job description includes billing responsibilities, billing duties will primarily be handled by the General Manager during this coverage period. The focus will be on administrative and clerical support.
We are looking for a fast learner with a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a good sense of humor. The ideal candidate should be professional, adaptable, and comfortable working closely with leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Enter purchase orders into E2 Shoptech system
  • Create receiving packets
  • Prepare shipping documents (UPS, FedEx, and other carriers)
  • Generate customer invoices using QuickBooks (as needed)
  • Create purchase orders for outside vendors
  • File and maintain customer and job documentation
  • Assist the sales team with administrative tasks
  • Develop and maintain organized filing systems
  • Work closely with the Company Controller
  • Provide general administrative support to management and staff
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • QuickBooks experience preferred (training available if needed)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems
  • Professional demeanor with a positive attitude
