CHRISTIAN PURPOSE AND EXPECTATIONS:
All employees proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through their employment, and thereby further BGEA’s religious mission.
Department Detail –Audio Ministry Services (AMS) produces content that tells of the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. AMS curates the Billy Graham Audio Archives, home to over 1,600 of Mr. Graham’s messages spanning over 65 years, all available on-demand. Mr. Graham’s timeless messages provide the foundation for Sirius XM’s The Billy Graham Channel, which AMS directs from its’ Charlotte studios. Among the podcasts in production: Fearless with Cissie Graham Lynch, which encourages subscribers to live out a fearless faith in a compromising culture. For radio stations, AMS produces Billy Graham Minute, a monthly set of fifteen messages each delivering Biblical truth in 60 seconds. AMS also creates the radio announcements that serve to promote and build awareness for many of the ministry’s endeavors.
Job Summary –The Administrative Assistant Associate must meet objectives related to the mission and goals of Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) by performing administrative activities in support of the Audio Ministry Services team.
Ministry Requirements
- Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
- Faithfully upholds BGEA in prayer
- Participates in daily BGEA staff devotions including Bible reading, and leading group prayer as schedule permits
- Demonstrates behavior aligned with BGEA’s Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, Hallmarks, policies, and expectations
- Effectively represents Jesus Christ to those within both personal and professional spheres of influence
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize contract files to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with company standards.
- Process invoices and prepare required documentation for submission into Datahaven accounts payable software.
- Create, track, and update production request forms throughout the production lifecycle.
- Monitor production status, including items in progress and items released, and communicate updates back to in-house advertising agency (Willow Communications) as needed.
- Prepare, update, and maintain spreadsheets to support production tracking, invoicing, and reporting.
- Provide continuity and administrative support across production workflows, ensuring clear communication and coordination between internal teams and external partners and contractors.
- Compose written and electronic correspondence as required.
- Coordinate and liaisons with administrative assistant at Blue Ridge Broadcasting regarding Executive Director’s calendar and other needs.

Job Specifications
Skills and Knowledge
- At least two years of administrative support experience
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
- Experience with or capacity to thoroughly utilize Microsoft Office suite, with particular strength in Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
- Transcription experience a plus
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent phone and written communication skills
- Well-developed problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships, communicate and work closely with staff at all levels of the Association
- Proofreading experience a plus

The Title VII Exception for Employment
The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) is a faith-based religious organization committed to spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ through every effective means. Consistent with our charitable purpose to share the Christian faith, a requirement for employment at BGEA is affirmation and adherence to our Christian Statement of Faith. Our Statement of Faith prerequisite for employment is based upon federal law set forth in Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. Section 2000e-1.
Benefits Summary:
Associate or Seasonal employees may work up to 19 hours a week (not to exceed 1000 hours a year (calendar/sequential)), and are not eligible for any benefits.
