Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Ward Clerkto work at a facility in Canon City , CO. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $25 / hour
*W2
Shifts Available:
- M-Fri or M-Thurs or Tues-Fri five 8's (with or without lunch) or four 10's
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a Ward Clerk
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Must have up to date certification in the state of CO
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and relay messages
- Admit, discharge, and transfer patient paperwork
- Update patient records and charts
- Schedule tests, procedures, and appointments
- File medical documents
- Assist nurses and doctors with clerical tasks
- Order and track unit supplies
- Greet patients and visitors
