Title: Acute Utilization Manager

Pay Range: $40.00-$45.12 Per HR
Description:
• Join our team as an Acute Utilization Manager responsible for evaluating clinical conditions and determining medical necessity based on medical records.
• This remote contract position requires an active RN license in NJ or a Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Work from the tri-state area with a focus on patient advocacy and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
• Active RN license in NJ or Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Minimum of three years of acute care clinical experience.
• Experience in discharge planning or utilization management.
• Proficiency in medical management/precertification.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in common office software.
Qualifications:
• BSN preferred.
• 3+ years of acute care clinical experience.
• 2 years of experience with care management criteria.
• Experience in surgery and acute care settings.
