- Join the Life Insurance Solutions team (LIS) and play an essential role in the Core Modernization initiative.
- Support development, testing, and maintenance of Excel-based scenario testing tools.
- Ensure accurate policy lifecycle values and a successful system transition.
What You’ll Do
- Configure retail life insurance products into the new policy administration system.
- Validate that the system produces accurate values throughout the policy lifecycle.
- Create scenario testing tools for each product to compare results from the new system.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and update Excel-based scenario testing tools for Retail Life products.
- Build, test, and maintain accurate and reliable testing tools.
- Collaborate with the Automation Development team to integrate automation features.
- Monitor tool efficiency and reliability, making improvements to usability and performance.
- Provide clear documentation and communicate findings across the team.
What You’ll Bring
Required Skills
- Extensive knowledge of Life Insurance products and product functionality.
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and formulas.
- General understanding of IRC Sections 7702 and 7702A.
- Strong communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Excel VBA.
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
- Working knowledge of QA review and testing processes.
MUST HAVES
- Extensive, detailed knowledge of Life Insurance products and product functionality.
- Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP and formulas.
- General understanding of IRC Section 7702 and 7702A requirements.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain tasks and report on calls with the SCRUM team.
