The Opportunity
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist with expertise in No-Fault and Workers’ Compensation to join our team in Uniondale, NY. This role is perfect for an AR professional who thrives in a structured environment and is looking for long-term stability within a large-scale medical platform.
What You’ll Do
A/R Management: Execute high-level insurance follow-up for No-Fault and Workers’ Comp claims across multiple providers.
Resolution: Review EOBs, resolve complex denials, and manage the submission of corrected claims and appeals.
Research: Utilize payer portals to track claim status and maintain meticulous documentation of all follow-up activities.
Trend Analysis: Identify systemic denial trends and escalate issues to leadership to optimize reimbursement goals.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with billing and revenue cycle departments to ensure seamless operational flow.
What You Bring
Experience: 2+ years of medical accounts receivable and denial management experience.
Specialization: Demonstrated expertise in No-Fault and Workers’ Compensation claims is required.
Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills; experience with Athena or similar high-volume EHR systems is a plus.
Knowledge: Working understanding of ICD-10, CPT codes, and managed care regulations.
Efficiency: Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple work queues effectively.
