A rapidly growing commercial construction design company located in South Austin has an immediate opening for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity with a very established, fun company with incredible benefits and growth potential! We are looking for candidates who have a positive, friendly attitude and who work well in a team.
We are looking for a well-rounded accounting professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience and significant accounts receivable.
Job Summary:
· Prepares, posts, verifies, records, and issues customer billing across multiple companies. Validate and record payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
· Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent accountholders to request payment.
· Copies, files, and retrieves documents for accounts receivable.
· Timely monthly bank account and credit card reconciliation.
· Assist in month end and year end accounting closings, adhering to all applicable deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
· Proficiency in account reconciliation techniques.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and highly proficient Excel
· ERP software experience highly desired
· CMiC software is a plus!
· Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers and associates.
