Accounts Receivable Specialist B2B

Location: Midtown, NYC

Salary: $26-$28 per hour

Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days on site

Status: Temporary (with potential for permanent hire)

We’re partnering with a great client on a hybrid opportunity in Midtown Manhattan for an experienced Accounts Receivable professional.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a strong leader and mentor who truly invests in their team’s success.

Description:

  • Contact client and create correspondence for past-due accounts and collections.
  • Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and all transactions related to accounts receivable.
  • Manage and updates customer files.
  • Contact clients regarding delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent accountholders to request payment.
  • Creates daily sales outstanding reports regarding the status of customer accounts as requested by the executive team.
  • Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable on a monthly basis.
  • Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed.
  • Relays changes of information to appropriate employees.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Confidence handling account clean-up
  • Experience communicating with internal managers and external clients via email and phone
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid Microsoft Office Suite, Excel skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong B2B collections/AR experience
