Barton Staffing is currently looking for a Accounts Receivables clerk for our client located in Des Plaines.
Temp to Hire Position
Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm
Pay Rate up to $28/hr depending on experience.
Position Details:
- Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
- Type: Temp-to-Perm
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of solid AP experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Start Time: 7:30 a.m. or 8:00 a.m. (flexible between the two)
- Pay Rate: up to $28 per hour (based on experience)
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing high-volume vendor invoices and matching them to purchase orders
- Reviewing and reconciling invoice discrepancies
- Preparing and processing check runs and ACH payments
- Assisting with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable
- Communicating with vendors to resolve payment or billing issues
- Maintaining organized and accurate AP files and records
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls
