Accounts Payable Supervisor Responsibilities

The AP Supervisor will manage and optimize AP processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing and reconciliations. Responsibilities include:

• Oversee accounts payable workflows and process improvements for efficiency and accuracy

• The AP Supervisor will reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and research outstanding items

• Maintain organized vendor files and ensure proper general ledger coding for all transactions

• The AP Supervisor will support month-end close with AP reports, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations

• Partner with procurement, operations, and finance teams to streamline processes and resolve complex accounting issues

• The AP Supervisor will monitor compliance with internal policies and accounting standards

Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Supervisor Role

• Extensive Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a high-volume environment

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems required

• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis

• Knowledge of general ledger processes and reconciliations

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage processes

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and process-oriented mindset
