What You’ll Do as the Accounts Payable Specialist

As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will take full ownership of the accounts payable function and report directly to executive leadership within a small, collaborative accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process approximately 275 invoices per month with accuracy and timeliness

• Perform full-cycle accounts payable including coding, entry, and payment processing

• Code invoices accurately within Yardi to the appropriate properties and entities

• Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wires

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly

• Maintain organized documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls

• Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and efficiently

What We’re Looking For

The ideal Accounts Payable Specialist will bring:

• 6+ months of Yardi experience (required)

• Prior accounts payable experience in a multi-entity or property-based environment

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage deadlines while maintaining accuracy

• A proactive, team-oriented attitude and comfort working in a small office setting
