Accounts Payable Specialist

We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a dynamic and collaborative accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple entities while developing your full-cycle AP expertise in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Primary Responsibilities (Full-Cycle Accounts Payable)

  • Process a high volume of vendor invoices with accuracy and efficiency

  • Perform purchase order (PO) matching and ensure proper documentation

  • Manage and process check requests and payment approvals

  • Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure timely payments

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist with 1099 processing and reporting

  • Reconcile vendor aging reports and resolve discrepancies

  • Support corporate-level account reconciliations

  • Coordinate with internal teams including Grizzly on rental billings

  • Assist with process improvements and workflow management

Desired Experience Level

We are open to Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 Accounts Payable professionals.
The team is looking to build a strong mix of experienced AP specialists and individuals looking to grow their AP foundation.

This manager actively trains and cross-trains team members to ensure strong development and coverage across responsibilities.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Strong purchase order processing experience

  • CMiC experience highly preferred

  • Construction industry experience a plus

Technical Skills

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Comfortable working within accounting and ERP systems

Soft Skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Strong workflow management and organization
