ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client, a leading non-profit organization providing a valued community service with a mission anyone can get behind, is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist. The organization boasts a team-oriented culture and provides its employees with the tools and training necessary to perform.
Accounts Payable Responsibilities:
- Monitor and process invoices from vendors; Schedule and set up weekly vendor payments
- Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders
- Assist in month-end closing process as needed including vendor statement reconciliation
- Process and review expense reports
Experience Preferred for the Accounts Payable / Payroll Admin:
- Attention to detail and understanding of nonprofit/fund accounting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid computer skills
