Position Summary

The Accounts Payable Lead will oversee daily AP operations across multiple entities, ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments, and serve as a key resource to both internal departments and external vendors. This role requires strong attention to detail, leadership capability, and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the full-cycle accounts payable process across multiple entities

• Review and approve invoices, expense reports, and payment batches

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments

• Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger

• Assist with month-end close related to AP

• Maintain vendor relationships and resolve discrepancies

• Support audit requests and documentation needs

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency

• Provide guidance and training to AP team members as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years of accounts payable experience

• Experience working in a multi-entity environment required

• Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred

• Strong understanding of AP processes, controls, and reconciliations

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
