Position: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Elkhart, Indiana | 100% Onsite | Full-Time

• You’ll handle core A/P responsibilities while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong communication with vendors and internal departments.

Overview of the Accounts Payable Specialist Role:

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and approvals.

• Perform 3-way matching (invoice, purchase order, and packing slip) to confirm pricing and quantities.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or payment issues.

• Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and process expense reimbursements.

• Maintain organized documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

• Support the accounting team with month-end accruals and invoice cutoff reporting.

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist Role:

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience in a manufacturing or corporate environment.

• Working knowledge of 3-way match and invoice reconciliation.

• Proficiency with ERP or accounting systems (SAP, NetSuite, or similar).

• Strong Excel skills with attention to numerical accuracy.

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and skilled in vendor communication and follow-up.

Salary:

$39,500 – $43,500 annually, commensurate with experience.
