Target Compensation: $50,000 – $60,000
A stable, well-established manufacturing organization is adding an Accounts Payable Specialist to its accounting team due to continued growth. What You’ll Be Doing
- Process a high volume of vendor invoices daily, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and timely entry into the accounting system
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation, researching and resolving discrepancies as needed
- Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
- Maintain and reconcile vendor accounts and statements, ensuring all balances are accurate and current
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve billing questions and payment inquiries
- Assist with month-end close, including AP reconciliations and accrual support
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures
- Help identify opportunities to improve AP workflows and efficiencies
What They’re Looking For
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable or accounting support experience
- Experience processing high-volume invoices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Excel and accounting systems
- Manufacturing, distribution, or inventory-based company experience is a plus
