Location: New Berlin, WI | 1st Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday–Friday Starting Pay: $23.00-23.50/hour.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, your main duties will include:

• Preparing and entering vendor invoices incorporating 3-way match
• Preparing and entering expense invoices with GL coding
• Preparing weekly payment process focusing on discount opportunities
• Updating and maintaining vendor databases
• Accounts payable customer service and other general administrative duties

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an Accounting professional who enjoys payables, working as a team, and continuously working towards ways to improve the Accounting department. Traits for a perfect fit: excellent verbal and written communication skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, strong math skills, excellent customer service skills, and an outgoing personality and a team player. Data entry skills and phone and computer/technology skills must be sharp.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associates degree in Accounting or related field, 1 year experience, or combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in Excel and familiarity with general accounting programs and software
• Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
