Accounts Payable Associate

Reporting to the CFO, this individual is responsible for performing a variety of accounting clerical tasks related to the maintenance and processing of accounts payable records. This is Hybrid working position

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Review invoices and check requests to ensure accurate and complete
• Process A/P invoices through full A/P cycle
• Maintain A/P files 
• Match invoice payments and ensure accuracy
• Vendor file maintenance
• Review vendor statements
• Resolve invoice discrepancies
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquires
• Assist restaurant management teams with A/P related matters
• Assist in month end close

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a related job and prior work in an office environment required
• General understanding of accounting practices and principals
• Organization and prioritization skills a must
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multi-task and work under time constraints
• Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics / Great Plains a plus
• Discretion and trustworthiness due to frequent contact with confidential material
• Excellent communication skills required
• Knowledge of Quickbooks, Excel, and Restaurant365 a plus
