As a Consulting Accounts Payable Analyst in the healthcare industry, you will be responsible for managing a high volume of invoices and ensuring their timely payment. You will be working in a hybrid environment, with three days on-site at the Mission Center Building (MCB) and the rest of the week working from home. The period of performance is estimated to be around eight months, but this can vary depending on the need. The role requires proficiency in systems like Oracle Cloud or other large ERP systems, and experience with GHX. This position requires a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities will include managing a high volume of invoices, obtaining approvals for invoices, checking invoices for budget and compliance, and processing and coding invoices and credit memos. You will also be responsible for resolving complex invoice issues related to electronic and unpaid invoices, managing AP related documents, and assessing the appropriate amount of sales and use tax on invoices. You will also be expected to provide excellent customer service to departmental users and vendors, manage work queues within Service Level Agreements (SLA), and create and run departmental reports for operational monitoring and analysis.

In addition to these, you will be expected to understand and identify transactions that are subject to 1099 reporting, provide guidance to the campus on UC policies in procure-to-pay policies, and review and approve payment requests according to UC policy, ensuring complete and accurate documentation.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented and has excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should be proficient in Excel and be able to manage large data sets and reporting. You should also have good reading comprehension skills, the ability to deal with sensitive situations with tact, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment effectively managing your workload. A bright and quick learner, you should have a Bachelor’s degree and US job experience. Prior experience with GHX and Oracle Cloud system is required.
