Accounting Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating accounting and business office functions to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations. This role partners closely with senior business leadership and supervises accounting staff while supporting day-to-day financial activities across the organization.

Direct Reports:

• Accounts Payable Coordinator

• Payroll Coordinator

• Accounting Clerk

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, payroll coordination, and general financial reporting.

• Oversee cash management–related functions, including program billing and payment platforms.

• Prepare and submit required financial reports in accordance with state and organizational requirements.

• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality of all financial records and transactions.

• Support business office operations and assist with additional accounting or finance-related projects as needed.

• Collaborate with leadership to improve processes and maintain efficient financial workflows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.

• Minimum of five (5) years of accounting or finance experience.

• Prior supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.

• High level of discretion and professionalism.
