Accounting Specialist / Staff Accountant

Santa Monica, CA (onsite)

Pay: $65,000 -$75,000 / annually

Addison Group is seeking a skilled Accounting Specialist / Staff Accountant to join our client in their Santa Monica headquarters. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a design-forward, high-end retail brand that supports top architects, builders, and design professionals.

What You’ll Do:

• Process high-volume (150+/day) full-cycle Accounts Payable (3-way match, GL coding)
• Handle Accounts Receivable functions and bank reconciliations
• Manage T&E reimbursements and ensure accurate general ledger postings
• Support monthly closes and contribute to overall accounting operations
• Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with internal teams

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field (highly preferred)
• 3+ years of accounting experience (AP/AR, debits & credits, GL)
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work onsite at our Santa Monica location, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM (flexible)
