Location: Dallas, TX | Onsite

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay range: $38–$45 per hour

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Employment type: Contract (W2) temporary short term role

• Start date: ASAP

ROLE IMPACT

This role exists to drive a high-volume account reconciliation cleanup spanning multiple months and years of historical activity. Success is defined by independently completing the majority of reconciliation work, organizing support documentation, and bringing clarity to complex, aged transactions. The specialist will play a key role in restoring accuracy to intercompany balances and enabling resolution of the most complex remaining items.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed intercompany account reconciliations across multiple months and years with a high volume of monthly transactions

• Research, analyze, and resolve variances and unmatched transactions

• Organize reconciliation support and establish repeatable reconciliation processes

• Identify transaction patterns and categorize activity to improve processing speed

• Document findings, open items, assumptions, and recommended next steps clearly

• Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve the most complex or ambiguous reconciliation issues

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• Hands-on account reconciliation experience; intercompany reconciliation preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working efficiently with large data sets

Core Tools & Systems

• Microsoft Excel

• General ledger and accounting systems

• Intercompany accounting and reconciliation workflows

• Financial documentation and reporting tools

Preferred Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage high transaction volume

• Comfortable working through ambiguity and complex reconciliation scenarios

Ramp-Up & Project Details

• Anticipated onboarding: 1–2 days to begin producing reconciliation results

• Expected output after ramp-up: multiple months of preliminary reconciliation work per day, depending on complexity

• Estimated project duration: several weeks, with potential extension based on backlog
