Core Responsibilities:
In this exciting role as a Management Analyst II on the Contracts & Finance Team at the Office of Behavioral Health, you will:
- Provide contract and financial analysis and support to Agency Procurement & Program Administrators.
- Manage and coordinate the collection of information for audit requests.
- Coordinate with program management, financial staff, and vendors to ensure accurate and timely procurement and payment activities.
- Refresh and run financial reports supporting the manager of the unit.
- Process and research payments via accounting systems.
- Support aspects of RFP Coordination for the office.
- Analyze and support other non-contract procurement activities for the office such as the procurement card, travel arrangements & reservations, and other requisitions.
- Oversee the work of an Accounting Assistant Technician.
Minimum Qualifications:
In order to qualify, you must have eight (8) years of education, training, and/or experience analyzing, evaluating, and/or developing improvements to organizational and/or managerial systems, programs, and practices.
The background of well-qualified candidates will demonstrate the following
competencies:
- A demonstrated ability to successfully create and analyze financial reports using Microsoft Excel and other computer-based tools.
- Experience in the development of contracts or financial processes; preferably procurement experience that involves an understanding of funding sources.
- Experience processing invoices and payments, analyzing reconciliations, and troubleshooting financial and procurement activities to maintain compliance.
- Experience working with others to gather data and/or summarize information related to projects, audits, or other requests.
