Seeking Accounting Manager for High Growth Healthcare Organization

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail‑driven Accounting Manager to oversee some of the key financial operations within our healthcare organization. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing inventory accounting, fixed asset processes, and complex payroll activities while ensuring compliance with GAAP and healthcare‑specific regulatory standards. This Accounting Manager will collaborate across clinical, administrative, and operational departments to maintain accurate financial data and support strategic decision‑making. The ideal Accounting Manager will bring strong technical accounting expertise, excellent leadership ability, and the capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced healthcare environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Accounting Manager to take ownership of high‑impact financial functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily accounting operations as the organization’s Accounting Manager, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee inventory management processes, including reconciliations, valuation, and reporting.
  • Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and asset tracking.
  • Direct complex payroll processing, ensuring compliance with healthcare labor laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Support month‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, schedules, and supporting documents.
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP, internal controls, and healthcare‑specific financial policies.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to verify accurate inventory, asset, and payroll data as an Accounting Manager.
  • Assist with audit preparation and provide documentation to external auditors.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency as a proactive Accounting Manager.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience serving as an Accounting Manager or senior accounting professional.
  • Strong technical expertise in:
    • Inventory management
    • Fixed asset accounting
    • Complex payroll processing
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Motivated, driven, forward thinking individuals should apply.
  • Experience working as an Accounting Manager in a healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and healthcare billing or revenue cycle operations.
