Overview of the role:
- Manage corporate allocations, intercompany transactions, prepaid insurance and other insurance allocations
- Assist with ad hoc projects
- Maintain corporate accruals, manage internal reporting, leases, corporate general ledger maintenance
- Coordinate with other accountants in other offices
- Lead month-end close and consolidations
- Analyze monthly results and ensuring all adjusting journal entries are complete
- Assist in various other projects and corporate financial initiatives including mergers & acquisitions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business
- 8 years minimum
- CPA is a plus
- Public accounting background would be highly desirable but not required
- Some experience from PE backed, or transformation heavy would be a plus
- Experience in a $700M manufacturing/logistics/distribution company needed
- Systems implementation or transformation
