Job Details
Position Summary
Our client is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations, oversee financial reporting, and support strategic financial initiatives. This role offers strong visibility to leadership and the opportunity to make a direct impact on a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the consolidation of month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy across income statements, balance sheets, and cash reconciliations
- Review financial statements and reconciliations to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal standards
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure timely and accurate completion of financial deliverables
- Prepare monthly leadership reporting and quarterly board-level materials
- Support borrowing base calculations and debt covenant reporting for financial institutions
- Develop and maintain liquidity forecasts to support cash management and planning
- Assist in developing and enhancing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Partner with leadership on budgeting and financial performance analysis
- Communicate key financial insights, including cash flow and performance trends
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives across accounting functions
- Support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives
Core Competencies
- Strong technical accounting foundation with deep knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with financial consolidations and multi-entity environments
- Understanding of cash management, debt compliance, and treasury-related activities
- Proven leadership and team development experience
- Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with senior leadership
- Process improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and scalability
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or MBA preferred
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Background in corporate accounting, consolidations, and financial reporting
