Accounting Manager

- Manage and review monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements
- Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and journal entries
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies and controls
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff; assign and review work
- Coordinate with external auditors and support audit and tax-related activities
- Monitor and improve accounting processes, systems, and internal controls
- Partner cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership on financial matters
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or similar certification preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including people management
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
