Our client, a well-established healthcare organization, is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee key accounting functions including Month-End Close, Financial Reporting, Audits, Accounts Receivable/Payable, and Payroll. This role reports directly to the CFO and collaborates closely with the VP of Finance and other senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager
- Lead the monthly financial close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Oversee AR/AP, payroll, and daily financial operations
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, internal policies, and procedures
- Coordinate external audits, including annual financial statement audits and grant audits
- Partner with senior leadership to provide financial analysis and maintain strong internal controls
Qualifications Preferred for the Accounting Manager
- Education: BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team leadership
- Preferred: Healthcare industry experience; CPA or MBA (not required but a plus)
