We are seeking an Accounting Manager who will report directly to the Controller and be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of seven locations.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Manager, your primary duties will include:
1. Overseeing daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
2. Managing and supervising all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
3. Coordinating and executing month-end and year-end close processes.
4. Performing cost accounting tasks and preparing accurate financial reports.
5. Ensuring compliance with all internal and external financial and legal regulations.
6. Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to improve financial procedures.
7. Using Reynolds and Reynolds software for various accounting tasks.
8. Assisting in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
9. Identifying and addressing discrepancies and irregularities in financial entries and reports.
10. Training and mentoring junior accounting staff.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification will be a significant advantage.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the engineering or automotive industry.
3. Proficiency in using Reynolds and Reynolds software.
4. Solid understanding of accounting principles, cost accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
5. Proven experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
6. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
7. Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
