Accounting Finance Transformation Lead

- Own and optimize finance systems and reporting platforms, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and continuous improvement
- Support the evaluation, design, and potential implementation of consolidation, reporting, or performance management systems
- Assess the current ERP and finance systems environment and contribute to data-driven recommendations for optimization or future platform changes
- Build and maintain financial reports, dashboards, workflows, and data integrations used across the finance organization
- Analyze end-to-end finance processes to identify inefficiencies and reduce manual effort and cycle time
- Design and implement process improvements and automation using system capabilities and reporting tools
- Develop and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and control considerations related to finance systems and processes
- Partner with IT and external vendors on system integrations, security, access controls, and deployment readiness
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities by assisting with reconciliations, data validation, and system issue resolution
- Improve data governance, definitions, and controls across financial and operational datasets
- Evaluate and enhance business intelligence and analytics capabilities to support scalable reporting and insights
- Provide training and ongoing support to finance users on new systems, reports, and processes
- Leverage approved automation and AI-enabled tools to improve productivity while maintaining appropriate controls
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Professional certifications (CPA, CISA, or relevant system certifications) preferred
- Finance systems or financial reporting technology
- Enterprise systems (ERP, EPM, consolidation, or reporting platforms)
- Accounting, finance operations, or financial reporting
- Business systems analysis or data/platform roles supporting finance
- Experience supporting or leading system implementations, integrations, upgrades, or major enhancements
- Strong ability to translate finance requirements into technical solutions
- Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, IT, and Operations teams
- Solid understanding of data flows, controls, and system dependencies
- Experience with business intelligence and analytics platforms beyond Excel-based reporting
- Advanced Excel skills, including data validation, large dataset analysis, and audit-ready modeling
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
