Description
Charlie Gilmur with Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Tigard, Oregon. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing daily accounting operations, including data entry, accounts payable, and financial documentation. This position requires precision, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter high-volume accounting and financial transactions into the system.
- Process accounts payable tasks, including inventory transfers and vendor invoice payments.
- Verify data for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain well-organized and up-to-date accounting records and files.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to track data, create basic reports, and perform reconciliations.
- Provide general support for accounting functions and administrative duties.
- Respond to internal inquiries regarding transaction statuses or data accuracy.

Requirements - Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting, data entry, or administrative roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas, sorting, and filtering.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Capability to handle sensitive financial information with professionalism.
