Location: Niles, Michigan
Schedule: Onsite | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $41,600–$49,920 annually

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join a growing team in Niles, Michigan. The Accounting Clerk will support daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger support.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk

• Process accounts payable invoices and match purchase orders

• Post customer payments and assist with accounts receivable

• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records

• Assist with bank and account reconciliations

• Support month-end close processes

• Communicate with vendors and customers regarding payment inquiries

• Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems

Qualifications for the Accounting Clerk

• Associate degree in Accounting preferred (or equivalent experience)

• 1–3 years of accounting, AP, AR, or bookkeeping experience

• Strong data entry skills with high level of accuracy

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks
