Job Title: Accounting Clerk
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Salary Range: $41,600 – $52,000 annually
Company Overview:
We are a growing and collaborative organization seeking a detail‑oriented Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accuracy, and supporting overall accounting operations in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with bank reconciliations, invoice processing, and general ledger entries.
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
- Support month-end close activities and prepare basic financial reports as needed.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
