An accounting-focused Accounting Associate- Grants Coordinator to prioritize the financial integrity and fiscal obligations of our business agreements. This role performs functions of financial reporting, partner billing records and contract agreements.
An accounting-focused Accounting Associate- Grants Coordinator to prioritize the financial integrity and fiscal obligations of our business agreements. This role performs functions of financial reporting, partner billing records and contract agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Compliance: Ensure all partner agreements align with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and revenue recognition standards
- Accounts Payable (AP) & Receivable (AR) Integration: Verify that partner invoices match contractual milestones and payment schedules, resolving discrepancies before they hit the general ledger.
- Budget Tracking & Forecasting: Monitor program budgets and expenditures against contract allotments, providing variance analysis to help management predict future spending.
- Audit Readiness: Facilitate internal and external audits by maintaining a meticulous paper trail of financial amendments, lien waivers, and proof of deliverables.
Essential Skills
- Financial Systems Proficiency: Experience in ERP and accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, for tracking contract data.
- Excel: V-lookups, pivot tables, to analyze complex partner payout structures.
- Knowledge of non-profit grants
Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is typically required.
- Non-Profit, grant funding experience
Hourly pay is $ 23.00-25.00
