Pay Range: $23.00 - $26.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits
Akron, Ohio area Engineering Firm seeks an experienced Accounting Associate.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Associate or Bachelor degree in Accounting
- Minimum of (1) year of accounting or billing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel
- Experience with project-based accounting
- Knowledge of A/P, general ledger & chart of accounts preferred
- Project billing & invoicing
- Accounts receivable management
- Client invoice preparation & contract compliance
- Partnering with Project Managers on billing questions
- Monitoring outstanding invoices & supporting collections
- Utilizing Deltek for invoicing, dashboards, and reporting
- Supporting payroll cross-training
- Assisting with audits & financial compliance
- Identifying process improvements
- Maintaining accurate financial documentation
- Strong communication & organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage deadlines
