Salary: $45,000 to $56,000

Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant:
• Process high‑volume Accounts Receivable transactions
• Post payments and handle daily deposits
• Participate in the shared phone group; handle customer calls related to collections
• Manage a designated set of accounts based on workload distribution
• Process batches that generate journal entries (no responsibility for creating entries)
• Match checks to invoices and process price corrections
• Assist with general accounting tasks as needed
Qualifications of the Accounting Assistant:
• Associate degree preferred but open to no degree
• Entry‑level friendly — open to new grads
• Some AR or accounting exposure is helpful but not required
• Strong attention to detail and a positive, team‑oriented approach
