- Accountant will own the full cycle billing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance for grants and financial data
- Deliver timely, insightful financial reporting and strategic guidance to leadership
- Lead client communications for billing, onboarding, and collections with professionalism and empathy
- Drive process improvements, recommend internal controls, and support audits and accreditations
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly billing metrics and grant reports to support decision-making
- As an Accountant, you will contribute to annual budget preparation, forecasting, and long-term planning
- Provide cross-training and support to team members, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3-5 years of experience preferred (nonprofit or healthcare a plus)
- Strong working knowledge of accounts receivable, billing, grant compliance, and GAAP
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, QuickBooks Online, and related accounting software
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Commitment to confidentiality, reliability, and making sound financial decisions
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
