Accountant - Real Estate Development - Hybrid - Boston 

A national real estate development and investment firm is seeking an Accountant. The firm manages a multi-billion-dollar portfolio spanning various asset classes.

This role supports a mixed portfolio of operating and development-stage assets. This individual will work cross-functionally with various internal teams to deliver financial reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly accounting close activities, including billing, collections, cash management, and AP coordination

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages (balance sheet reconciliations, income statement analysis)

• Support development and construction teams with financial reporting, budgeting, and funding requisitions

• Prepare CAM/RET reconciliations

• Assist with GAAP reporting, tax support, and external audit requirements
• Develop reporting templates and perform analysis using Excel and property accounting systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred

• 2 to 4 years of experience within real estate, development, or property accounting

• Experience with property accounting systems
