Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Real Estate Accountant to play a key hands-on role in executing our day-to-day and monthly financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate accounting and be proficient in QuickBooks.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Real Estate Accountant to play a key hands-on role in executing our day-to-day and monthly financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate accounting and be proficient in QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Lead the preparation and timely delivery of monthly. quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Maintain and monitor property budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals.
- Perform payroll processing and related reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in the real estate industry.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks.
- Strong Excel skills required.
- Solid understanding of multi-entity accounting and intercompany reconciliations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative, work independently and manage multiple priorities.
