Responsibilities of the Accountant:
- Timely and accurate reconciliation of selected general ledger accounts and bank statements
- Assist with month-end, quarter and yearend closing process to include
- Track and monitor grant funding, ensuring proper allocation, compliance, and reporting requirements are met
- Assist with investment accounting, including recording activity, tracking performance, and reconciling investment account
- Will adhere to month-end and year-end closing deadlines
- Adherence to deadlines for audit support detail for review by external auditors
Requirements for the Accountant:
- Have worked in non profit is a plus!
- 3-5 plus years of experience at the Staff Accountant Level
- Strong Excel skills
- Can work independently
