The Consulting Accountant will be a key player in our team, providing financial insights that will help guide business decisions and strategy.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and analyze monthly accounting reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
2. Conduct job costing analysis to track project expenses, identify cost overruns, and make recommendations for cost control.
3. Generate job profitability reports for Project Managers, providing insights into project performance and profitability.
4. Collaborate with Project Managers to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
5. Evaluate financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of improvement.
6. Ensure all financial operations comply with federal and state laws.
7. Provide financial advice to management to help them make well-informed decisions.
8. Work on special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Construction industry experience required.
2. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
5. Exceptional analytical skills and experience in statistical analysis and financial forecasting.
6. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in preparing financial reports and data.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
