The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the financial health and success of our company. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy of our financial data, managing our financial systems and procedures, and providing financial insights to our leadership team.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
As an Accountant, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. Performing regular bank reconciliations, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded in a timely manner.
2. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
3. Managing accounts payable and receivable.
4. Ensuring compliance with state and federal tax laws by accurately preparing and filing tax returns.
5. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
6. Participating in financial audits and implementing audit recommendations.
7. Collaborating with the financial team to streamline accounting procedures and systems to enhance financial reporting and control.
8. Providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making by the leadership team.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the Construction industry.
3. Proficiency in bank reconciliations and managing financial systems and procedures.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting.
5. Exceptional numerical proficiency and attention to detail.
6. Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
9. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is preferred but not required.
